Business Operations position targeted on delivering end to end operational excellence to safeguard the business, specifically supporting negative media screening processes, as well as other general program responsibilities such as client transfers and other approvals
Job Summary:
This position is targeted on delivering end to end operational excellence supporting negative media screening processes
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the following processes for CB Business Operations:
- Negative Media Escalations: Review, document, and escalate negative media identified through CB’s screening processes, with a focus on identifying negative media that has the potential to pose reputational risk to JPMC and its clients
- Assist with the following processes for CCBSI / MMBSI Business Operations on an as needed basis:
- Client Transfers: Review and provide approvals for CB transfers coming into the business with a focus on client selection and AML alert identification.
- NAICS Code Approvals: Review and provide approvals for CB clients when an actual or potential High-Risk Industry NAICS Codes are used for client transfers and new client onboard
- Identify and escalate potential areas of concern from a control perspective, including but not limited to:
- High-risk AML & Reputation Risk industries and client risk factors; client system alerts; previously exited clients; etc.
- Relevant and material negative media
- Appropriate Specialized Industry/Financial Insurance Group (FIG) client coverage
- Liaise with a variety of CB partners such as Bankers, Client Data Management, Business Operations, Client Service, KYC Officers, Finance and Business management, etc.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- BA/BS degree
- Some familiarity with banking processes and procedures is helpful but not necessary
- Some knowledge of the different types of industries that the Commercial Bank supports
- knowledge of AML/KYC
- Strong client focus and ability to partner with other internal groups, particularly client coverage
