Purpose/Mission


This role is responsible to meet or exceed Retail Net Sales across one region by streamlining operations for Merch Trading & Hiring. This person will partner with DMs to drive commercial success and strengthen retail execution in assigned stores in region.


Key Functional Responsibilities


District – Product


Key relationships – Merchandising | Store Managers | District Manager | SCM | Inv Controller


  1. To maintain healthy cover at any given point in terms of cover, seasonality and size viability by working closely with the Merch. Team.
  2. To ensure on time launches of Key Campaigns & packs.
  3. Support in managing quick & efficient Inter-store Transfers (ISTs) as suggested by Merch team.
  4. To ensure optimum stocks availability of Key FTW Franchise and Top articles of Footwear & Apparels in stores.
  5. Regular monitoring of black hole & slow movers for timely action to increase sell outs.
  6. To ensure adherence of updated discount master and execution at floor.
  7. To ensure timely submission of merch. grid for any upcoming store for timely and smooth opening.
  8. To provide timely feedback on campaign, key launches, promotions, etc.
  9. Enable efficient and effective ARS by keeping the store replenishment list updated.
  10. Providing merch. team with key market insights to swiftly plan stock to leverage local/regional opportunities.

District – People


Key Relationships – HR TA | HR BP | District Manager


  1. To preempt hiring requirements of open & new stores & source relevant profiles from professional network
  2. To participate in interview process & ensure right talent is hired & mapped to right role
  3. To work closely with Talent acquisition team on reducing hiring TAT for roles to positively impact store productivity & Net Sales
  4. Ensure onboarding of all new joinees within the allotted district.

District – Performance


Key Relationships – District Manager | Store Managers | DTC Excellence


  1. To visit stores and to ensure Net Sales productivity, Retail KPIs and Re-order enforcement.
  2. Ensure target and incentive communications to store’s timey for optimal performance.

Controlling;


  • To measure progress on own KPIs – 50% Merch trading, 30% hiring, 20% Net Sales
  • To report to District Managers
  • To review and take action on trading & hiring reports/dashboards

KPIs


  • To closely monitor merchandise movements and propose stock transfers
  • To Source, Interview and Hire Store managers/ASM/Retail associates which will ensure profitable and well managed stores
  • To meet allotted NS targets for the District
