Role Summary & Role Description:
The candidate is expected to be a team player and Java Developer who will contribute to the development, enhancement and maintenance of Core Utilities that form the backbone of the state street data services.
Design, Develop, Test, and Validate the solutions built using Java for State street data services.
Experience building cloud native applications using core java and spring framework.
Should possess a strong working knowledge of Azure cloud services and Snowflake and kubernetes.
Knowledge and experience of microservices architecture and Kubernetes is highly desirable.
Provide plans and estimation of the development tasks assigned
Communicate effectively within the team and with business colleagues to carry out project related tasks smoothly in a coordinated approach.
Should exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving skills and aptitude to work in a complex and challenging work environment.
Implement unit test automation using Junit, Karma or Mocha or similar tools
Work with infrastructure and other related teams to ensure deployment and operationalization of cloud applications
Quickly evaluate various technologies and complete POC driving architecture design for the applications
Must be able to work effectively both on teams as well as be self-motivated, task oriented and organized
Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment
Experience in DevOPS is a plus with hands on experience in Jenkins, Git and any one artifactory tool.
