Job Description
We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our agile team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products, with a focus on developing data warehouse and ETL backend systems. Proficiency in Data Warehousing and DataStage is essential for this role.
Must have skills
- Candidate must have 10+ years of relevant experience Proficient in Extraction, transformation and Loading ETL processes using DataStage 11.5 and 11.7
- Extensively worked on DataStage Parallel and Sequence jobs using various stages like Join, Lookup, Merge, Oracle Enterprise, Remove duplicate, Aggregator, Change capture, Filter, Funnel, Copy, File set, Seq. File etc.
- Strong SQL experience in writing very complex queries, performance tuning, optimization and debugging
- Strong programming skills in Unix Shell Scripting
- Strong Experience in building Generic and Reusable code components in Data stage
- Experience in writing technical documents such as Technical Designs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Agile experience.
Good to have skills
- Financial industry experience is preferred.
- Experience with MS Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum and Kanban methodology is a plus.
- Knowledge on different databases like Sybase, MS SQL server is a plus.
