Job Description Summary
The role of Agile Enablement Support is to support the Diamond Claims and Client Technology Scrum Team. The role requires a strong sense of technical analysis as well as team collaboration. They must have a baseline understanding of business acumen with past experience working with technology teams. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain entry into the Agile Ways of Working within a Healthcare Technology Organization. The ideal candidate would be technologist open to growth within the International Health Organization.

Responsibilities and Desires:
- The role is set up as a growth opportunity to learning the agile framework as a Product Owner and ART Level Support Specialist. The role requires quick learning into the way technology teams in Cigna work together to continuous deliver value to the business. With opportunity to learn and work with International Teams, Change Management, and Organizational support.
- Agile Release Train Support: The individual would be supporting agile ways of working and overall agile processes. To Include: Metrics and Reporting, PI Planning Support, Team Building Activities, Tooling Governance, and Ad-hoc Support.
- Product Ownership: The individual would working closely with a technical team. The roles associated would be around User Story Writing, Supporting Technical Refinements, Assisting with Technical Enablement.
- As a product owner, collaborate effectively with business partners with a primary focus on the customer experience, and reinforce empathy to the “why” behind Cigna’s business needs.
- Own, develop, and maintain a healthy backlog of features and stories
- Analyzes and translates business requirements into detailed User Stories and business rules
- Aligned to scope that is complex or that may cross release trains
- Responsible for development of the product backlog, ensuring the acceptance criteria meets the business priorities and desired outcomes.
- Enable the team to succeed through the management of actionable stories and help remove or illuminate any blockers to the Product Manager or Release Train Engineer as they arise.
- Assist in Agile Release Train Team Building, Collaboration, Tooling Support, and Ad-hoc request.
- Coordinate teamwork efforts to maximize velocity and value delivery
- Lead your team through the refinement of user stories, ensuring that the business value remains the focus.
- Work with team and partners for quality assurance and release scheduling
- Prepare and conduct sprint reviews and agile demo meetings for product stakeholders
- Leadership Skills: Ability to Drive Change, Information Analysis and Synthesis, Meeting Facilitation, Relationship Building, and Reporting.
- Competencies: Builds Networks, Communicates Effectively, Customer Focus, Values Differences
- Success Criteria: Learning about the Agile Framework, Agile Release Train Level Reporting, Effective Communication, Team Building Activities, and Additional Ad-hoc learning.
- Experiences in International, Technology, Technical Product Ownership, Agile, Jira, Confluences, SharePoint is desired.
- Provide servant-leadership for teams and support continuous improvement activities to help a team consistently deliver working code
- Prioritizes the Product Backlog, to ensure that the team is working on stories that maximize business value and deliver necessary fixes and functionality to all customers
- Accept stories to ensure they meet the defined acceptance criteria – validate with the Product Manager or Epic Owner that the stories accomplish the feature level definition of done
- Work with team and partners for quality assurance and release scheduling
- Prepare and conduct sprint reviews and agile demo meetings for product stakeholders
