JOB INFORMATION


GENERAL PURPOSE


At MillerKnoll, we're building an agile, collaborative, globally connected organization fit for continuous evolution. As an Agile Coach, you will assist in creating, developing, and executing MillerKnoll’s digital strategy across multiple product teams. Agile Coaches support and guide product teams towards embracing a continuous improvement mindset in their agile journey as well as championing empirical decision making throughout the organization. You will be a key factor in enabling growth in digital experiences for contract and consumer clients.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


Acts as the champion of the user’s needs.
Serve as a servant leader, coach, and facilitator, working closely with the team and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.


Help the team embrace iterative development, continuous improvement, and rapid experimentation. Facilitates the definition and implementation of team level working agreements to support the day-to-day delivery of working software.


Facilitate scrum ceremonies, ensuring they are productive, time-boxed, focused on achieving the Sprint Goal, and encourage active participation.


Identify and proactively remove impediments that hinder the team's progress, escalating issues as needed. Effectively represent the team's needs to management and advocate for resources and support.


Work closely with the Product Manager to ensure the Product Backlog is well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with the overall product vision and customer needs. Help the team balance new feature development, new architecture initiatives, and the reduction of technical debt.


Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.


QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience


Bachelor's / Master’s Degree in an IT-related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience with an overall experience of no less than 14 years. A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience as an Agile Coach / Scrum Master required with demonstrated experience in continuous delivery models/frameworks strongly preferred.


Licenses and Certifications


Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I, etc.) preferred.


Skills and Abilities


Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of core agile delivery metrics.


Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional presentation and facilitation skills.


Experience with conflict resolution, facilitating discussions and solutioning within diverse groups and high-stakes environments.


Ability to solve problems and remove impediments that prevent the team from performing at their best.


Mastery of agile & scrum concepts and principles, with ability to influence others to adhere to best practices.


High-energy and resilient outlook in challenging scenarios.


A passion for growth mindset – honing your craft, learning new tools and techniques. Recognize and embrace failures as opportunities to learn and grow.


Proficiency with agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.


Demonstrated experience driving technical improvements in software development processes, such as TDD, CI/CD, automated testing, and code quality initiatives.


Note: This role will work in the shift timing of 2:00pm to 11:00pm IST.
