The position
As an Agile Coach at Novo Nordisk, you will have the following responsibilities:


  • Lead the delivery of certified Agile trainings and workshops to enhance organizational understanding of Agile values and methodologies.
  • Coach and mentor Agile roles, teams, and Agile Release Trains (ARTs), driving the adoption and continuous improvement of Agile practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement and scaling of Agile methods, tools, and processes, leveraging organizational learnings and captured insights.
  • Influence leadership to drive change and enable the organization to move forward together, acting as a role model for Agile methodology.
  • Communicate and interact professionally with stakeholders, Agile teams, and external partners, fostering an environment of collaboration and shared learning.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, with 10+ years of experience in IT, including 3 to 5 years of experience in Agile methodologies and Agile Coaching.
  • Proven expertise in facilitating Agile training and workshops, driving continuous improvement, and managing change in complex stakeholder environments.
  • Proven expertise in setting up people and teams for success, focusing on their needs, roles, and team topology.
  • Preferred certified SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) with at least 2 years of experience in the SAFe® framework.
  • Preferred experience working in a scaled Agile setup or being part of a Lean Agile Center of Excellence (LACE).
  • Good understanding of how people and team dynamics impact collaboration, value flow, and overall team performance.
  • Able to navigate in a complex stakeholder environment, with strong empathy and relationship-building skills for effective stakeholder management.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse users across different organizational, cultural, and technical competency levels.


About the Department
You will be anchored in our local Lean Agile Center of Excellence (LACE) in GBS and also be part of our Global Novo Nordisk LACE. The local GBS LACE is focusing on coaching teams and leaders to embrace a cultural shift and the Global connect to Global LACE ensure bridge to the cross organizational agile units. We offer Agile trainings to educate our stakeholders in Agile methodology and ways of working. Also, we operate within Hub & Spoke model to ensure effective collaboration with stakeholders.
