What does a successful DevOps Engineer do?

You are a key contributor who helps protect and improve uptime and scale infrastructure with data driven cost transparency. You will do this by designing, building, maintaining, and improving our cloud deployment and operations strategy to support our next-gen financial core.

What you will do:

• Design, build, maintain, and improve:
• Automation pipelines
• Infrastructure as code for major cloud providers
• Kubernetes deployments
• CI/CD orchestration pipelines
• Telemetry based monitors, alerts, and dashboards
• Triage, diagnose, and debug production incidents and improve/automate systems/solutions to prevent the issues from recurring
• Be part of a 24/7 on-call support team
• Manage multiple projects with an eye on high quality and timely delivery
• Demonstrate accountability and team leadership in the delivery of your work
• Be trusted to resolve unclear and highly visible tasks
• Continually improve DevOps tools, processes, and procedures

What you will need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
• 4+ years managing configuration, build and deployments for enterprise software solutions
• Experience with code repositories (Git), Terraform, Kubernetes (helm, charts, kubectl commands),at least one scripting/programing language (Python preferred), and at least one of these cloud providers: AWS, AZURE, or GCP
• Establish the next generation of cloud-native technologies

What would be nice to have:

• Experience working with Linux, Datadog, Postgres, ArgoCD­, Traefik or NGINX­, Redis, Kafka, Confluent, RabbitMQ
