Advisor, Software Development Engineering(.Net, Angular)

What does a successful .Net Advisor do at Fiserv?


  • Analyse and understand business requirements to translate them to technical specifications.
  • Proactive communication\Escalation on identification of any roadblocks\challenges
  • Look for Automation opportunities
  • Will be well versed and already practicing Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Serve as a technical expert in the evaluation and testing of the capabilities, characteristics, and requirements of existing and emerging technologies like .Net Core, ASP.Net, ASP.NET MVC, Angular, Typescript, SQL Server, JavaScript, jQuery, SSIS, SSRS, C# .Net, WEBAPI, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub and Harness UI. 
  • Provide design and development support for new technologies/platforms that are recommended and adopted mainly who can work with.Net Core and Angular and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab and Harness UI. 
  • Conduct design reviews, code reviews & assess any technical risk. Also propose order and contents of development iterations.

What you will do:


  • Provide Solution Architect level systems design, development, consultation and support for core banking application on .NET, relational databases and distributed n-tier application platforms. 
  • Work with the Technical Team in a collaborative manner
  • Attend stand up meetings and provide project updates
  • Analyse and understand requirements.
  • Identify technical requirements from business specifications
  • Identify Production Stabilization and improvement areas for better Client experience
  • Make recommendations as to feasibility of implementation. 
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring/training to colleagues, users and staff. 
  • Work closely with Developers, Business analysts, QA, Product Management Team and ensure that the software that is being developed is aligned with published methodologies and best practices. 
  • Provide development and maintenance support to QA, Customer Care, Implementations Team & customers. 
  • Design, develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies such as unit testing, mocking and integration testing. 
  • Interact with leads & other management team members to provide regular status updates. 
  • Participate in software estimation, planning and risk identification process
  • Comply with company best practices, methodologies and adopt with new technologies. 

What you will need to have:


  • Experience between 8 – 12 years
  • Proficient in Microsoft Technologies (ASP.Net, ASP.NET MVC, Angular, Typescript, SQL Server, JavaScript, jQuery, SSIS, SSRS, C# .Net, WEBAPI)
  • Experience with software development tools – Visual Studio, SQL Management Studio
  • Tracking using JIRA.
  • Familiarity with JSON objects, XML, Data structures and CI/CD tools like Harness and Gitlab.

What would be great to have:


  • Basic knowledge on PowerShell Scripts
  • Good to have experience in Net Core
