The position
As a System Manager for OMP you will be  responsible for supervising the day-to-day usage, operation, and maintenance of the system and / or services. You will also:


  • Supervise the day-to-day usage, operation, and maintenance of the system and/or services. Monitor vulnerability warnings, namespace changes, and system unavailability.
  • Act as a single point of contact, liaison, and escalation for all system and service-related matters. Ensure documentation of the system landscape is updated with changes.
  • Manage the refresh of SAP environments interfaced to Opportunity Marketplace (OMP)  and drive OMP upgrades.
  • Coordinate changes in licenses with different Business Areas, Finance, and OMP in discussion with the License Owner.
  • Manage the expectations of LoB, customers, and users concerning the use of the systems. Ensure the most appropriate levels of service are supplied to meet future business needs.
  • Interact with regulatory authorities for audits and inspections (e.g., FDA). Assist the service provider in ensuring that existing services meet their service targets.
  • Facilitate system strategy and risk management work in cooperation with key stakeholders.  Conduct supplier assessments in collaboration with our supplier manager.


Qualifications

  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Overall 8+ years of IT experience. 5+ years of experience with IT Systems /service management in a large and matrix organization. 
  • Experience in handling/managing end-to-end systems/applications, incident, problem, change expertise, and participating in audits (internal and external) required.
  • ITIL experience is a must. Experience in  or have worked or managed a system which integrates with SAP.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance processes, compliance requirements, and supported business processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a global, fast-paced environment.


About the department
You will be joining the DD&IT Product Supply unit at Novo Nordisk. This unit is responsible for more than 40 global IT systems, including the operation, maintenance, support, and development of these systems. Our strategic objective is to be the IT partner for the business, providing the necessary solutions and support to meet the production and supply chain needs worldwide. The systems we manage, including SAP logistics modules like Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and Advanced Planner Optimizer (APO), are critical to the execution of key business processes across the organisation. We work on a global scale, supporting all areas of the business, from R&D to Sales, and our systems are used 24x7 by thousands of Novo Nordisk users worldwide.
