The position
As an Advance System Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will:


  • Manage the SAP GBT (GxP & Business Critical), SAP ATTP (GxP & Business Critical), Open Text and UDI Systems. Work closely with the project team on Business Application Onboarding activities.
  • Handle GxP systems authorization tasks as relevant. Plan and manage system budgets. Perform periodic system management activities.
  • Ensure IT systems comply with internal and external requirements to maintain a validated state. Supervise the day-to-day usage, operation and maintenance of computer systems.
  • Contract services from suppliers and vendors as needed. Validate computer systems and application services. 
  • Manage configuration, testing, and users of IT systems. Handle computer systems risks and IT incidents. Manage major incidents and disaster recovery in IT.
  • Plan and participate in release and upgrade schedules, technical information surveillance, and validate new functionality/project influence on current set-up.
  • Represent the system in audits and inspections.


Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree or similar graduate degree in relevant fields (Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration) and relevant business experience.
  • 8+ years of overall IT experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical industry in GxP areas with exposure to regulatory affairs. Good to have - SAP System Experience, Agile knowhow.
  • Good interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate and communicate with external parties (vendors), stakeholders, user community. 
  • Ability to represent NN in relations with users and external vendors/stakeholders. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English .
  • Large degree of flexibility and the ability to work under strong time pressure. 
  • Excellence in business and system understanding.
  • ITIL related support experience  . 
  • Manage own time planning and produce timely deliverables.
  • Communicate and involve relevant stakeholders.


About the department
You will be joining the DD&IT Product Supply unit at Novo Nordisk. This unit is responsible for more than 40 global IT systems, including the operation, maintenance, support, and development of these systems. Our strategic objective is to be the IT partner for the business, providing the necessary solutions and support to meet the production and supply chain needs worldwide. The systems we manage, including SAP logistics modules like Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and Advanced Planner Optimizer (APO), are critical to the execution of key business processes across the organisation. We work on a global scale, supporting all areas of the business, from R&D to Sales, and our systems are used 24x7 by thousands of Novo Nordisk users worldwide.
