Advanced Engineer QA

QA Engineer for the development and execution of test plans for complex systems involving software, hardware and communication methods.Individual must have the ability to work closely with agile teams to understand product requirements and use cases to deliver high quality. The candidate must have a strong background in Automation frameworks. The candidate will interact frequently with management both local and global.

oEssential Competencies:

oCompetent in test planning, test execution for functional, Integration, and system testing

oStrong Experience in designing Automation frameworks using Tools like Selenium, Appium, ReadyAPI, etc

oMust have strong expertise in testing web-based, RESTful API calls and mobile (Android & iOS) applications

oWork closely with agile development team on assigned test projects and help in delivering quality software

oContributes ideas on product and process improvements

oParticipates and contributes to design review sessions

oExperience working in agile environment and methods

oFlexible to work on manual testing and automation based on business needs

oDesirable Competencies:

oAdequate knowledge working on IoT based applications

oInteract with Hardware / Software team to resolve system-level issues

oExperience / Knowledge of Cloud IOT, MQTT development

oPassionate to work on POCs for technology research efforts that result in prototypes for concept evaluation

oWorking knowledge on Agile tools

EDUCATION PREFERRED:

B.Tech/BE/MCA/M.Tech with good academics (65% and above)

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

7+ years of software development experience required as below:

• Understanding various software development lifecycle
• Some relevant experience
• Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices
• Diverse and global teaming and collaboration
• Effective communicator
• Wide degree of creativity and latitude
• Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.
