Job Description

We are seeking an experienced people manager to build and lead a team supporting Authors & Publishers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and preferred knowledge of digital marketing strategies. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, developing and mentoring the team to deliver outstanding Seller experience and improve Seller’s Advertising performance across international markets. We look for someone hands-on, creative, detail-oriented, analytical, highly-motivated and customer obsessed to set the ways of working of the team; You should have great attention to detail, solid deep dive ability and researching skills, strong judgment skills, ability to manage multiple complex projects at the same time.
Key job responsibilities
* Hiring the team and owning the onboarding plan
* Managing, coaching and mentoring a team of Advertising specialists
* Setting team dynamics and SOPs, including definition of the scorecard as aligned with Advertising Sales teams
* Supporting in setting clear performance objectives, track performance and provide regular feedback to team members including headcount performance management through the scorecard
* Identifying training and development needs, and implement upskilling initiatives
* Providing onboarding and 1:1 support to the team
* Monitoring team productivity and quality of work, and implement process improvements
* Collaborating with Advertising Sales teams to identify and solve issues and removing blockers
* Analyze data to track team performance and inform decision-making
* Fostering a positive, inclusive and high-performing team culture
* Preparing documents around best practices, procedures and framework for innovations
A day in the life
• Build, and scale programs which eliminate barriers to Advertiser success and help grow their business.
• Coach ad success specialists to develop advertising solutions that will deliver high impact.
• Define metrics to help improve advertising solutions, provide insights to Sales teams and grow business. Prepare weekly / quarterly reviews, business documents
• Set stretch goals and deliver against them on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
• Hire, groom and grow team members.
About the team
Advertiser Success Team (AST) assists with onboarding new advertisers and works on optimizing accounts of existing advertisers on Self-Service Performance Advertising (SSPA) or SA (Search Advertising). While onboarding new advertisers, we focus on providing a 1:1 personalized assistance in educating them, setting them up for success. On optimization, we perform account level optimizations, which include editing keywords, ASINs, bids, budgets and new campaign creation aligned to Advertiser goals. Your team will work with a wide range of Authors & Publisher businesses to eliminate blockers to success while driving Ads experience and better business results. Your team will be a key partner in providing this top notch service. Ensuring seamless execution of smart, effective campaigns, deliver to advertiser’s needs and assist in driving new and repeat opportunities for the business.
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of digital creative production, ad serving, cross-channel attribution, and media analytics
- Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
- Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders
- 3+ Years of People & Performance management experience is a must
- 3+ years of strategic client services role working with Fortune 100 brands experience
- Experience with annual brand and media planning
