About the Role: We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, and proactive Advertising Policy Specialist to join our Ads Policy team. The Ads Policy (AP) team develops strategic advertising policies in support of growing business and ensures that policy enforcement is consistent and scalable. This cross-functional position reports to our Head of Ads Policy and will serve as the primary liaison between AP and our growing sales organization. This exciting new role is on the front lines of some of the fascinating challenges and opportunities impacting online advertising and will help scale its business worldwide.
Experience:
● 3 to 8 years of experience in ads policy development and/or enforcement at a consumer technology company
● Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
● BA/BS or equivalent education/experience at a consumer technology company
● Strong analytical skills to assess the root cause of the problem and drive towards an appropriate, scalable solution
● Proven track record as an effective collaborator with peers and cross-functional stakeholders to implement strategic initiatives and tackle complex challenges
What You’ll Do:
● Develop and launch strategic policies that protect our users and advertisers and support a growing advertising business
● Proactively identify policy gaps and prioritize impactful, data-driven solutions and improvements.
● Develop strong partnerships with internal teams to deliver consistent and transparent ad review
● Serve as point of contact for Sales and front-line review teams for training, quality, and escalations
● Provide expert guidance and information to other internal teams to advance various product, platform, and ad policy initiatives
● Serve as the primary point of escalation for enforcement teams seeking policy clarifications for edge cases
● Serve as an ads policy advisor to company executives, PLP leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders on ads policy issues and enforcement decisions
