Key Objective
  1. To provide meaningful, insightful, high quality and timely actuarial reports and advice to various global actuarial teams and business units across various lines of business and geographies.
Major Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for implementation of IFRS in one or more Asia Pacific markets. 


  1. Manage the team to ensure best practice for process & control
  2.  Ensure the maintenance of documentation for each process and audit requirements including data, models, assumptions and analysis to support the delivery of high-quality financial results and analysis
  3. Manage the ad-hoc deep-dive analysis or impact assessment to provide actuarial insights
  4. Identify areas on improving the efficiency and optimizing the reporting process through process enhancement and automation

Should have experience analyzing cash flows in Prophet models, or a similar Actuarial software, and reconciling with XL pricing models.


Create Valuation reporting and reconcile from Prophet runs.

Qualifications, Skills and Credentials

Undergraduate/Post graduate degree in any analytical discipline such as Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, etc 


Strong data analytics capabilities, attention to detail and problem solving ability


Member of Actuarial Society(IAI/IFOA/SOA) with minimum 6 papers cleared (may differ based on hiring level)


Excellent oral and written communication skills


Effective interpersonal skills, ability to manage competing projects, meet deadlines


Proficiency in MS Excel and office applications


Proficiency in Prophet, or similar Actuarial software


Prior exposure or experience in some of the following tools/software shall be advantageous  -MS Access, VBA, SAS, SQL, R, Python, Qlik. 


Experience

7+ years relevant actuarial work experience in insurance industry, preferably Life Insurance.
