Job Description
- Financial Systems & Controls:
- Develop and implement financial systems and controls aligned with group accounting policies.
- Manage financial risks by implementing effective internal controls, financial policies, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Lead the annual budgeting process.
- Regularly monitor financial performance against the budget as per reporting requirements.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Provide forecasting and financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Manage the timely reporting with full accuracy and maintain the MIS as per group requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements including RBI, GST, Corporates taxes etc.
- Oversee accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll by following group accounting policies
- Treasury and forex Management:
- Oversee cash flow and liquidity management.
- Manage the organization's investments, working capital, and debt, optimizing returns and minimizing financial risks.
- Import, Export and Administrative Management:
- Manage the administrative part of the organization, including knowledge of local laws, taxes, employee-related laws, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare the documentation for the import, export, cross border trade, management of logistical part for the import and exports.
- Stakeholder Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including distributors, stockiest, suppliers, banks, and auditors.

- Master's Degree plus MBA/CA/ICWAI.
- Minimum 8-12 Years of experience in financial management in an engineering company/ trading set up is required
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Experience in developing and implementing financial systems and controls.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and tax laws.
- Good knowledge of excel/advanced excel and MS office applications.
- Experience in managing a team and overseeing accounting operations.
- Understanding of local laws and compliance requirements related to administration and HR.
- Available to join within 1-2 month
- person must be stationed in Chennai-Tamil Nadu and preference will give to those staying close to College Road, Chennai.
