Job Role: Associate Accountant- Full time employee
The role is based within Finance function of Northern Operating Services Private Limited.
Major Duties
Works under the supervision of the Finance Manager and support in the following:
Supports posting of daily accounting entries along with proper attachments.
Supports in Bank Reconciliations and banking related activities such as addition/ deletion of signatories etc.
Assists in month end procedures e.g. Accruals, Prepaid expenses, Depreciation, Salary, Leases, Dilapidation accounting etc.
Assists in accounting of monthly and quarterly statutory tax payments.
Performs Intercompany reconciliations and prepare documentation for inwards and outward remittance.
Identify issues in process and provide recommendations for process improvement
Assists in preparing various schedules required for statutory audit requirements
Assists in miscellaneous. administrative activities, as and when required.
Financial Record Keeping Maintain financial records, including the general ledger, and reconcile bank accounts.
Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, income and expense reports, and other financial documents,
Financial analysis: Analyze financial data, identify and correct errors, and research issues.
Process improvements: Research issues and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Skills
Reasonable understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis technique.
Proficiency in MS Excel.
Knowledge of any ERP system preferred.
Strong attention to details and organizational skills.
Excellency communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications/Requirements:
B.Com/ M.Com (Graduate or above)
Candidates pursuing recognized Accounting Qualifications such as ACCA, CMA (US), CIMA (UK), Company Secretary (India), CMA (India) would be preferred.
Experience: 1 to 2 years experience in accounting field.
