About the Team:
We are Platform Securities Team providing Investment Accounting Services to Investment Advisor Globally, so we have different teams working on Income and Corporate Actions, Trade Settlement, Position Recon, Cash Recon, Exception Resolution, Financial Reporting and so on.
What you will be doing
- Day to day posting of dividend, interests and other incomes
- Build strong understanding of core systems and how they work together.
- Review, research and provide feedback on processing discrepancies/ errors to prevent recurrence
- Analyze existing systems and processes to identify gaps and opportunities for cost/ quality/ process improvements.
- Support meeting Service Level Agreements for TAT, utilization, productivity & quality
- Ensure compliance with external and internal audit and confidentiality/ regulatory requirements
- Contribute to implementing and enhancing the policies and procedures for knowledge management.
- Addressing client queries and building a cordial relationships.
- Develop and maintain procedures and controls to ensure compliance with corporate, regulatory, and audit requirements.
- Review dividends and other corporate actions that have tax or basis consequences.
- Work with internal Trust Operations departments to identify, correct, or improve operational processes and procedures.
What you bring:
Knowledge / Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in the field of Income/Dividends/Corporate Actions posting.
- Good to have knowledge of Global Plus system
- Should Possess a working knowledge of all types of investment assets, including but not limited to equities, fixed income, mutual funds, alternatives, derivatives, foreign securities, exchange-traded funds etc.
- Candidate should have exposure around audits (internal and external) and strong understanding around Risk and Control framework.
- Establish strong relationship with onshore counterparts and should be capable of handling Client Queries and Issues.
- Working closely with the team to identify process needs, putting strong controls in place, and identify the gaps in process. Also ensure that all SLA’s are met.
- Raise any issues related to process, people and others to line management on urgent basis with possible solution.
- Should be very active who can discover out the opportunities in existing business by gaining efficiencies, Automating the processes
Qualifications
- Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Management/Administration or related field of study.
