Juniper is looking for a Data Scientist to work in its Future of Support team. The team is responsible for development of AI and ML based applications to automate customer support processes and provide Juniper’s customers with a Digital First experience. We are looking for an energetic, highly-motivated, fast-learning, self-starter to join the team. The candidate will help with special projects while gaining a unique perspective on building cloud- based AI/ML infrastructure and application of AI/ML techniques in the networking domain focused on customer support use-cases.

The right candidate has:
Generative AI areas such as Large Language Models, Fine Tuning techniques for LLMs, Building Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) applications, Prompt Engineering, designing Agentic AI systems.
Data Engineering areas such as Map-reduce, Hadoop, Kafka, Spark
Data Science toolsets/libraries (e.g., Pandas, Keras, Tensorflow, ScikitLearn)
Tableau and other data visualization tools
Databases like Relational Databases, No-SQL Databases, Graph Databases and exposure to Associated Query languages.
