Job Description for Finance Associate Manager :
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Finance Associate Manager in the general accounting team. The role reports to the Finance Director and will be part of the Global Business Services (GBS) function of Juniper Networks. Looking for motivated person to lead and drive General Ledger accounting, Audit, tax, and compliance for worldwide region. Responsibilities will include;
- Oversight of GL month close activities and balance sheet reconciliations. This includes monitoring the month close progress as per the close calendar and communicating and escalating issues timely.
- Drafting Financial Statement and explaining GAAP reconciliation
- Assist in investigating and resolving complex accounting issues timely and effectively.
- Review BS accounts reconciliations and manual journal entries and provide signoff on the same.
- Prepare and present quarterly BS accounts flux analysis and close checklist (by coordinating with the various groups).
- Handling and finalizing audits for India and other regional entities with Big4 firms
- Drafting tax computation and Deferred tax accounting
- Consolidation, inter-company transactions and reconciliations including foreign currency accounting
- Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and compliance to internal policies
Qualification and technical skills
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) / Certified Public Accountant (CPA) IFRS
- Strong accounting knowledge is a must. US GAAP experience would be an added advantage
- Experience in the GL function of a multinational enterprise and / intercompany accounting is an added advantage
- SAP ERP experience is an added advantage
Desired Experience
- Overall 6+ years of professional experience
- 2+ years of experience with Big4 in statutory audit team
- Hands on with Accounting standards, Audit methodologies and execution.
- Exposure of US GAAP\IFRS compliant will be an added advantage
