Job Description
Position Purpose The Immigration Coordinator is the primary point of accountability for immigration clients. This role involves providing reliable and concise immigration advice, managing the immigration process, and ensuring excellent customer service throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of changes in local immigration laws and practices, and report new requirements to relevant parties
- Client Communication: Provide clear and accurate immigration advice (both written and verbal). Send an immigration plan to the assignee within 24 hours of initiation, including timelines and required documents
- Process Management: Verify initial inquiries, conduct a thorough case assessment, outline the complete procedure with clear timelines, provide guidance, and manage the immigration process from A to Z
- Regular Contact: Maintain regular communication with the assignee, customer, and HR manager throughout the service. Schedule calls to discuss the immigration plan and ensure understanding
- Issue Resolution: Immediately address any service-related complaints or issues. Notify your Manager of any escalations and document issues in the system
- Documentation: Record vital service-related information daily, upload necessary documents, and prepare applications and forms for submission to authorities
- Billing: Ensure services are invoiced promptly, within 48 hours of completion, in accordance with client billing requirements
- Client Updates: Provide timely updates and service reports to clients. Track expiration dates and notify appropriate contacts
- Business Development: Support business development by attending meetings with potential clients as required
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain regular communication with local immigration and labour authorities and stay updated on relevant regulations
