Continuously track and analyze policy developments, regulatory changes, and international agreements across Southeast Asian countries and ASEAN.
Assess the potential impact of these developments on business operations and provide forward-looking policy trend insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.
2. Government Relations & Policy Advocacy
Establish and maintain robust communication channels with government departments in Southeast Asian nations, ASEAN Secretariat, and relevant international organizations.
Drive policy dialogue and collaboration initiatives, and cultivate relationships with key government stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
3. Risk Management & Compliance Support
Identify policy and regulatory risks across different jurisdictions.
Develop contingency plans and assist business units in responding to sudden policy changes or compliance challenges.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure business goals are aligned with local government policies and regulations.
1. Experience & Background
Minimum 2 years of experience in policy formulation, public affairs, or international relations.
Must have full-time working experience in Southeast Asian government departments (such as Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Trade and Industry, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, etc.) or international organizations like ASEAN.
Proven involvement in regional economic cooperation, trade agreements, energy/infrastructure policy initiatives is a strong advantage.
2. Regional Expertise & Cultural Sensitivity
In-depth understanding of Southeast Asia's political and economic landscape, cultural differences, and regional cooperation mechanisms (such as ASEAN integration process).
Exceptional cross-cultural communication skills with the ability to build trust and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders.
3. Language Proficiency
Strong English writing and speaking abilities.
4. Work Arrangement
