Job Description

 

  • Design and implement SRM solutions for critical applications and infrastructure components.
  • Define and document recovery plans, including recovery time objectives (RTOs) and recovery point objectives (RPOs).
  • Conduct thorough testing of disaster recovery plans through regular drills and simulations.
  • Integrate SRM with other relevant tools and systems (e.g., vCenter, Aria suite, vCloud).
  • Manage tenant access, quotas, and resource allocation for vCD.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve vCloud Director-related issues for tenants and administrators.
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks, including upgrades, patches, and backups.
  • Monitor vCloud Director performance and resource utilization.
  • Configure and manage vCloud Director replication and failover capabilities.
  • vCD certificate renewals – SSL published through internet & Internal
  • Automate vCloud Director tasks using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
  • Should be aware of VCF path and prepared to import vCD to VCF 9 in future.
