Visual Merchandise Group Leader | IKEA | Cairo Festival City
Location: Cairo, EG
Overview of the role: Ensure the visual identity of the store aligns with IKEA’s brand guidelines, creating an inspiring and customer-friendly shopping experience. Oversee store layout, product presentation, and commercial displays to drive sales, improve store KPIs, and enhance the overall home furnishing experience. Provide leadership and guidance to co-workers to ensure commercial goals are met efficiently and effectively. Optimize store layout and product presentation to enhance the shopping experience, improve sales, and support business needs. Implement and maintain commercial layouts that align with IKEA’s merchandising guidelines to maximize customer engagement and sales potential. Conduct regular concept reviews to ensure consistency and accuracy in visual displays. Take efficient and quick actions to ensure that store solutions work for the business and contribute to KPI improvements. Drive commercial actions through detailed attention to store layout, range presentation, and sales performance. Ensure that all product displays and range groupings follow IKEA’s commercial guidelines for maximum impact. Support store teams in making informed decisions about range presentation to respond to sales trends and stock availability. Lead and manage the work briefs for the visual merchandising team to align with business objectives. Participate in store projects, including layout changes based on sales performance and customer feedback. Assist the team in executing store transformations and other planned activities. Train, mentor, and develop Visual Merchandisers to maintain high competency levels and teamwork. Ensure all team members receive necessary safety and security training for equipment use. Oversee recruitment, ensuring positions are filled promptly with the right candidates. Drive employee engagement and address areas for improvement based on survey results. At least 2 years experience leading a team of designers 5+ years experience in designing in a construction, architectural or interior design firm Strong skills in planning, presentation, and implementation of merchandising strategies * Degree/Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture
