Job Description

Location: Cairo, EgyptIn fast changing markets, customers worldwide rely on Thales. Since then we have continued to bring growth and security and safety to the country by upgrading these transportation systems as well as providing solutions for customers in air traffic management, air defence and Navy.

JOB OBJECTIVE:


  • The Treasury Officer will support the Onshore Thales teams in delivering high-level quality of service in order to manage Treasury Functions in line with Treasury rules and Thales policies.

  ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Check and execute payment proposals received from Infosys.
  • Upload payments for payment execution bi-monthly, including weekly urgent payments, if any.
  • Send Bank Statement to Infosys on weekly basis.
  • Support Bank Reconciliation with Infosys.
  • Provide Customer booking details to Infosys team.
  • Record Inter-Co Invoices in Diapason for netting and send the list to Infosys to Post.
  • Update Bank Signatories / KYC as per requirements.
  • Estimate Cash need and request funds from Treasury.
  • Review Bank Charges on monthly basis before posting.
  • Co-ordination with the team for preparation of LC documents.
  • Co-ordinate with the team for issuance of Bank Guarantee and support in reduction of bonds value upon requirement.
  • Closely monitor usage of Bank Guarantee lines and prepare.
  • Report for Corporate upon requirement.
  • Act as back up for other persons in Treasury team in times of vacation.
  • Miscellaneous bank related tasks as and when necessary (KYC etc…).

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:


  • At least 3 years of experience in Treasury Function with a large or medium sized company, preferably Multinational Companies.

QUALIFICATION, CERTIFICATION & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor's degree in finance.

PREFERRED SKILLS:


  • Ethics Awareness.
  • Hard working, motivated and sincere.
  • Hands on with a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Excellent team working skills with peers and cross functional teams.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic; French is a plus.
  • Self-Starter and able to work with minimum supervision.
