Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Training Specialist to join our team.
The Training Specialist will be responsible for assessing organizational learning needs, developing in-house
training programs, and collaborating with trainers to deliver specialized training solutions. This
role involves designing engaging learning content, managing training logistics, and continuously
improving the effectiveness of our training initiatives to support organizational success.
RequirementsKey Responsibilities:
• Sourcing and Managing Trainers:
o Research, identify, and select qualified Trainers for specialized training programs.
o Conduct interviews and evaluations of potential trainers to ensure they meet
organizational needs.
o Collaborate with selected trainers to customize training content and ensure alignment
with company objectives.
o Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
• Facilitation of Training:
o Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including transportation, venue arrangements
and material preparation.
• Evaluation and Feedback:
o Gather and analyze feedback from training participants to assess the effectiveness of
programs.
o Measure post-training performance and continuously improve training content and
methods.
• Program Design & Development:
o Ensure training content is up to date with industry standards.
• Learning Management System (LMS) Administration:
o Manage the organization’s LMS by uploading and updating training materials, tracking
employee progress, and reporting on completion rates.
o Provide technical support to employees using the LMS.
• Continuous Improvement:
o Stay updated on the latest training trends, tools, and methodologies to incorporate
innovative learning solutions.
o Regularly review and improve existing training programs to enhance their relevance
and impact.
• Reporting & Metrics:
o Track and report key training metrics such as participation rates, learning outcomes,
and ROI to leadership.
o Provide recommendations based on data-driven insights to optimize training
strategies.
Qualifications:
• Education:
o Bachelor’s degree
• Experience:
o 2+ years of experience in a training, learning and development, or similar role.
o Proven experience in sourcing, interviewing, and managing external training providers.
• Skills:
o Excellent communication and presentation skills.
o Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other e-learning tools.
o Strong organizational and project management abilities.
o Ability to conduct thorough needs analysis and evaluate training effectiveness.
o Ability to manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
o Knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles.
