Accountabilities:
Establish AstraZeneca as a Scientific Leader through proactive, updated and effective Medical input
Engage scientific leaders, professional bodies, or societies to establish AZ as a Scientific Leader
Generate the medical evidence to support the brand strategies in priority Therapeutic Areas (TAs) to meet unmet medical needs
Provide medical expertise to shape regulatory environment to achieve rapid and high-quality market access of AZ products
Define and deliver training on Medical background of the product for various functions in the organization as required
Govern and ensure overall adherence to processes and regulations (include but not limited to patient safety, clinical trials, promotional activities, etc.)
Provide leadership and coaching to the Team, promoting professional development and ensuring effective execution of strategic objectives within the Therapy Area
Drive Innovation & Business Development through Digital Adoption
Articulate authentic commitment to diversity of representation, psychological safety, empowerment of others and focus on team cohesion
Show awareness of personal bias and attentiveness to other’s cultures with an open mindset, curiosity, and empathy
Essential Skills / Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in the Medical Affairs function Oncology experience is a plus People Management experience is a must Post Graduate certificates is a plus

What I love most about working at AstraZeneca is the people. We have a team of really talented people that are collaborative, engaging, and fun to work with. I also love the diversity of my role. As a pricing and market access director in the oncology team, every day is different. I have the opportunity to interact closely with our marketing companies to help them secure market access, which I find really rewarding. Additionally, I work closely with the global team to ensure that we have the right evidence and optimal strategy to support pricing and market access success. It really is an exciting time to join the AstraZeneca team. The portfolio is outstanding, and there are so many opportunities to develop professionally.
