Job Description

We are seeking a Tendering Specialist to manage and oversee the tendering process for logistics services, ensuring competitive and compliant bid submissions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing tender requirements, preparing proposals, and coordinating with internal teams to secure new business opportunities in the logistics sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Tender Management & Proposal Preparation:
  • Identify and review logistics-related tenders, RFPs, RFQs, and bid opportunities.
  • Analyze tender specifications, client requirements, and pricing structures.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive, competitive, and compliant proposals within deadlines.
  1. Pricing & Cost Analysis:
  • Work with finance and operations teams to develop cost-effective pricing models.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Optimize cost structures while ensuring profitability and operational feasibility.
  1. Coordination & Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate with sales, procurement, operations, and finance teams to gather necessary information for tenders.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers, transport providers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost estimations.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies in all tender submissions.
  1. Risk Assessment & Compliance:
  • Identify potential risks and challenges in tendering processes and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure all tenders comply with contractual, financial, and operational requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, government procurement policies, and logistics trends.
  1. Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
  • Track and report tender outcomes, success rates, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop strategies to improve future tender submissions based on feedback and past performance.
  • Maintain an organized database of submitted tenders, contracts, and pricing history.
