• Drive the formulation and execution of E2E fully integrated Technology strategy and roadmap for the DB and LRP (3 years) strategic plan across all Network and IT layers and associated service enablers.
• Govern the compliance of the local plans relative to the local and Group Strategy.
• Drive the Strategic alignment between Technology and other functions as Commercial ,Business, to achieve the VF strategic business goals
• Achieve Technology strategic directions and Targets within assigned projects and taskforces
• Drive the R&D roadmap in alignment with market and industry needs, and enrich the NTI,MCIT & Universities curriculum to match Vodafone strategic goals
• Drive Training roadmap for Technology population based on Strategic goals and functions needs, in alignment with HR to focus on New Trends like 5G,SW Engineering ,..
• Drive Technology People communication plan to keep staff engaged and informed
• Lead the CTO Office by driving the communication from CTO to Technology Population
• Manage and formulate the different Technology plans insights, analysis, investment prioritization, recommendation, KPI’s reporting and alignment with the Business & Technology departments.
• Manage the Business/Commercial projects budget across the Consumer, Enterprise, Customer Care & Retails, along with the Technology Teams
• Drive Business Cases Forums CAB,IRC to confirm investing in the most optimum case via alignment with Technology, Business & Finance , then alignment of CEO & EXCOs , then if needed Group EXCOs
• Lead the Technology Forums & Reporting with Vodacom & Vodafone Group regarding Strategy Pillars progress, Budget Execution, Programs Status updates and raise any foreseen risks "MPR,TRP ,IT TCO , CAR Adhoc Forums, monthly reporting and DB Forums"
• Defend the budget ask for Technology with collaboration with Finance & Commercial to convince the Group & Vodacom "Vodafone Group /Vodacom CEO, Vodafone Group /Vodacom Finance & Vodafone Group /Vodacom Technology"
• Lead & Govern NTRA R&D projects across Technology & NTRA, to fulfil license commitment
• Lead & Govern Competitive Operators for Programs like WE National Roaming RFP, Orange Sites Sharing
• Establish Deals with NTI, MCIT & Universities to develop the Egyptian Market Calibres either undergrad or postgrad via R&D Program & Internship
• Manage the interface towards the Region, Group Technology and handle all Group review requests
• Responsible for the Technology business cases alignment with budget and reviews with CTO/CFO/CEO
• Formulate LRP (3 years) fully integrated Technology Strategy after applying Gap analysis in all domains, study vendors’ roadmaps, Group guidance and analysing business requirements and local Regulatory dynamics. Moreover ensuring the operational/implementation capabilities of the Strategy across all domains.
• Ensure Strategy implementation in different domains and ensure that the Strategy is fed and aligned into all Budget submissions.
• Govern and drive the formulation of the big tickets strategy "5G, VoLTE,.."and implementation plans across all Technology domains and ensure the E2E full integration of all plans.
• 8+ years of experience in IT & Network
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of the telecommunications industry
• Advanced analytical skills
• Achiever and results oriented
• Strong Financial Experience

• Automation skills
• Vendor Management knowledge is a plus
