Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the technical office operations, ensuring all technical aspects of wood projects are addressed.
• Oversee the preparation of technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers and production teams to ensure technical requirements are met.
• Review and approve technical designs and modifications.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and clients.
• Develop and maintain technical standards and procedures.
• Manage technical documentation and records.
• Conduct technical training for staff.
• Liaise with suppliers and clients to resolve technical issues.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in a technical management role within the wood industry.
• Strong understanding of technical aspects of wood projects and production processes.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to develop and implement effective technical strategies.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
Software Proficiency:
• AutoCAD
• SolidWorks
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera)
• ERP systems
Fundamentals of the Wood Industry:
• Knowledge of wood properties and types.
• Understanding of wood treatment and finishing processes.
• Familiarity with technical drawing standards and practices.
• Awareness of industry standards and best practices.
