Job Description

  • To assume delegated authority and lending powers as per Retail Credit framework and ensure compliance with Policy Parameters and permissible deviations to Product programs.
  • To manage the underwriting function and ensure strict adherence to Personal Loans/Auto, credit cards, Mortgage and SBL credit policies across new / existing customer relationships in a multi product environment
  • To manage a team of evaluators and ensure all CICactivities are directed to achieve excellent customer experience as per agreedservice level standards and good credit quality to assume delegated authorityand lending powers as per Retail Credit framework and ensure compliance withPolicy Parameters and permissible deviations to Product programs

Key Results Area


  • Responsible for delivery of quality of booking, through the door performance and key performance targets.
  • To ensure that TAT against SLA is met
  • To identify anomalies / gaps in the credit policy, product manual guidelines and operational process and to recommend modifications thereof.
  • To develop and facilitate the team members in acquiring and upgrading skills and continuously improving the same by identifying, communicating and promoting the use of lending principles, concepts, methodologies and sharing fraud experience
  • Monitor performance MIS statistics for the team to highlight team productivity, error rates, approval, decline, deviation rate and trends and adherence to SLAs.
  • Train line staff, develop and conduct quizzes to evaluate product knowledge, assess results and flow with coaching and counseling.
  • Provide regular market feedback to the management to improve the quality, performance and competitiveness of the bank’s products and services.
  • Review and Updating SOPs on quarterly basis and ensuring that they are being followed accurately.
  • Conducting daily meeting with sales force to discuss rejected/cancelled cases in case of   re-instating them again
  • Completing other special tasks requested by department Head.

  • Good computer skills especially in using Excel and Word.
  • Excellent managerial & communication skills
  • Sufficient financial statements background  (SBL)
  • Excellent communication in English language
  • Graduate with 3-4 years experience in Credit Management
  • University Graduate.
