Job Description
Role Purpose: The main role for this job is to provide tax consultancy to the business, represent the company in front of the tax authority, handle tax audits and VF-Group tax submission and requirements and support planning the company new projects to avoid any tax risks.
Job Responsibilities: • Provide day to day tax consultation to various business departments.
• Representing Vodafone and all subsidiary companies in front of Egyptian tax authorities regarding all types of tax inspections.
• Handle the external auditors and inspectors for any tax & insurance calculations, requirements and validating the figures.
• Review monthly closing, prepare the required analysis and present the result to the management monthly.
• Prepare periodic department reports.
Assist management with development of department goals and procedures. And Assign personnel and schedules workflow to facilitate and ensure the ongoing efficiency of departmental processes.
• Represent Vodafone Egypt in front of tax authorities.
• Prepare group tax submission and forecast cycles.
• Review new contract and deals from a tax viewpoint.
• Handle tax reporting, submission and payments to Tax Authority
Skills Required: Core competencies, knowledge and experience [max 5]:
• Very good knowledge in Egyptian tax laws .and insurance gaudiness updates
• Very good knowledge in handling the tax related issues with Authorities and other stakeholders.
• Very good knowledge in accounting treatments for tax area.
• High negotiation skills to handle the tax negotiation with local/foreign vendors.
• High analytical skills to challenge the tax authority claims.
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 3-4 years’ experience in Tax Field.
• Very good knowledge in local tax laws and regulations and reporting procedures.
• High knowledge of computer skills.
• High Problem-Solving skills
• High Communication& interpersonal skills
• High negotiation skills.
• Provide ongoing training communication of corporate/department policies and procedures.
