Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
●Prepare periodic tax compliance submissions and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
●Coordinate with the accounting team to ensure proper documentation and reporting of tax-related items. VAT, WHT, salary tax, monthly submissions to the tax authority and yearly tax return submission.
●Implement plans for remediation of any tax-related issues.
●Monitor changes in tax legislation and evaluate their impact on the company.
●Prepare tax audit files and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
●Work closely with finance, legal, and other departments to support business initiatives.
●Develops knowledge with local tax laws and regulations, alignment with policies and governance, including adequate tax review process and trainings.
Required Education, Knowledge, and Skills:
●Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, and Business Administration.
●1+ years of experience in a similar position or accounting firm.
●Fluency in English and Arabic Languages.
●Experience in managing tax authorities, external consultants, and multiple stakeholders’ requirements.
●Ability to work in a complex environment.
●Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to clearly present financial and tax information.
●Strong knowledge of local tax laws and regulations.
●Excellent analytical, Problem-solving, and Organizational skills.
●Odoo experience is a plus.
