Job Description

Role Purpose


This Talent Acquisition role is a Country role where the incumbent is to work with HR stakeholders to deliver the global resourcing propositions into their Business. The Role Holder is responsible for supporting the Lines of Business (LoBs) assigned to them with the best recruits at the right time and in the most efficient way. As a Talent Acquisition Manager, they will also take part in branding HSBC Bank Egypt as an Employer of Choice to the external market and reinforce that message to all internal employees. They run the End-2-End Recruitment Process, explore new sourcing channels, ensure the hiring managers are always presented a high quality of candidates and build a strong relationship with the Business, HR Advisors and all other stakeholders. The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for the compliance with the AB&C process, the Global SLAs and targets as well as compliance of all staff files in terms of SLAs and accuracy.


Accountabilities for Business, Customers and Stakeholders


  • Implementation of HSBC's Talent Acquisition strategy and ensuring all execution is aligned to the strategy
  • Maximizing candidate and hiring manager experience aligned to HSBC brand values whilst ensuring compliance with regulatory, audit and legislative requirements and operational excellence
  • Running monthly audits on both the system and the staff files to ensure 100% compliance of the SLAs and process
  • Responsible for the compliance of the AB&C process
  • Responsible for the compliance with the Vetting process
  • Manage the relationship with the Regional Vetting Team and attending the monthly meetings
  • Managing the 3rd Party Relationship with Vendors and invoicing process
  • Indirectly manage the delivery of hires through the liaison with HRDS
  • Managing stakeholder relationships and related communication
  • Responsible for vacancies within their respective LoBs and ensure a smooth/efficient End-2-End recruitment process
  • Building the Offers for candidates and reviewing the candidate offers designed by the juniors in the team
  • Ensuring commitment to the Service Level Agreement (SLAs)
  • Increasing the customer’s satisfaction of the recruitment for both Hiring Managers and Candidates
  • Giving 1:1 interview feedback for internal applicants upon request

Leadership & Teamwork


  • Building strong relationship with the Hiring Managers
  • Managing the relationship with the Talent Acquisition Specialists and ensure regular catch-ups are scheduled 
  • Managing and overseeing the onboarding and vetting process and supporting the Talent Acquisition Specialists where applicable
  • Functional Knowledge
  • Exploring new sourcing channels and improve efficiency of channels currently in use
  • Managing the End-2-End Interviewing Process: starting with building the capability-based interview template, sharing & agreeing on the interview flow with the hiring manager and guiding them on the ratings
  • Owning the external headhunting process for external vacancies
  • Building pipeline of external candidates for recurring role
  • Conduct market scanning for roles that are new to the bank to understand the scarcity of the role in the market, available resources, similar skills available, pay ranges for this role in the market and guide the Hiring Manager accordingly
  • Owning the offer creation process and the offer negotiation with the selected candidates
