Job Description
A multinational Chemical Company is looking for a Tactical Buying Manager from a Shared Service Center (SSC) background. With 2 to 5 years of experience in procurement and strategic sourcing, you will be responsible for executing tactical buying activities to support our company's operations and drive cost efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement tactical buying strategies to optimize purchasing processes and achieve cost savings targets.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and provide guidance on procurement best practices.
Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Monitor market trends, conduct price analysis, and identify opportunities for supplier consolidation and cost reduction.
Manage supplier relationships, resolve issues, and enforce compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Utilize e-procurement tools and systems to streamline purchasing activities and maintain accurate records of transactions.
Analyze spend data, generate reports, and present recommendations to enhance procurement efficiency and performance.
Stay informed about industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance and mitigate risks in procurement processes.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2 to 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
Proficiency in using e-procurement tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Fluency in English
