Job Description

  • Responsible for designing and managing transportation systems to ensure the safe and efficient movement of people and goods. Their job duties include:
  • Conducting traffic studies and analyzing data to identify areas where transportation systems can be improved.
  • Designing and implementing traffic control systems, such as intelligent transportation systems and traffic signal control systems.
  • Developing transportation plans and strategies to help clients optimize their transportation systems.
  • Collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders to design and implement transportation solutions that meet the needs of clients.
  • Using modeling software to simulate traffic flow and evaluate the impact of proposed changes.
  • Conducting safety audits and identifying potential hazards on roads and highways.
  • Managing transportation-related construction projects.
  • Conducting public outreach and education campaigns to promote safe and efficient transportation practices.
