Overview Reporting into the E2E Planning Manager, and is the planning contact point in GBS for the RemainCo organization for a given category. The role is accountable for the cluster Supply Planning team in GBS. This role is the main interface between the GBS Planning Hub and the Market for Supply Planning, collaborating with the operations teams and market planners to ensure market plans are adopted, service levels and working capital targets are met. This role will be recruited into GBS as of 2023 and as such there will be a level of initial ambiguity in activity as the processes are adopted across during transition. It is expected that the role will therefore require an initial flexibility of approach as processes are primarily fixed & then shifted and improved over following strategy cycles. Responsibilities Accountable for production plans creation Ensure delivery of an optimised cross-site manufacturing supply plan, that can be scheduled, to maintain the target stock holding of all SKU’s to deliver service to BU’s Accountable to create constrained capacity production plans within the planning horizon Accountable for the review of detailed line scheduling plans Accountable for inventory and business waste projections with the market. Responsible to prepare an execute Supply Review for Platform/Hub as part of the monthly iS&OP cycle Manage GBS Supply Planning Team for the Category Monitor key service metrics and worst performers with Integrated Planning Lead and directors. Analyse root-causes for worst performers and support on the definition of action plans First level of escalation on crisis– support the GBS planners on resolution and propose action plans to be aligned with market Integration point between Market and GBS – represents GBS at strategic meetings with the market Qualifications MBA Operations/Supply Chain/Logistics / Engineering (preferred) Experienced in Supply Planning Line management experience High level of knowledge & understanding of the E2E supply systems & processes Proficiency in product category planning Strong collaboration skills and an ability to work with other functions / departments to address critical challenges as a result of market change or changes in technical, manufacturing or End to end planning processes. Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, able to interrogate data and produce detailed outputs. Understanding the links between production plans, plant AOP’s, productivity initiatives and customer service Abilities: Team lead experience Problem solving know-how Analytic skills Masters planning methodologies like heuristics, optimization etc Very good collaboration skills and ability to interact with multi-cultural teams spread across geographies
