Job Description



OverviewAs a Distribution Resource Planning (DRP) Planner, you will be the mastermind behind an automated process that ensures the right products reach the right locations at the right time. Your role will involve identifying, reviewing, and resolving exceptions, maintaining accuracy, and updating DRP parameters. You will spend a significant amount of time optimizing the planning tool to ensure optimal move recommendations. You will also be expected to continually update plans in response to demand or supply disruptions. As this role will be transitioning to a new structure in 2024, you will need to be flexible and adaptable as processes are adopted and improved over time.

Responsibilities



Take charge of maintaining and running the automated DRP process. Handle inventory deployment, trans-shipments, and deployment network design to ensure timely product arrival. Lead the regional exception-based planning process and drive continuous improvement. Conduct root cause analysis for trans-ship and expedite losses and develop action plans through system and process improvement. Collaborate closely with customer service, demand, and supply planning to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Drive system utilization and feed loss tree insights into future enhancements. Ensure that lead times for deployment in the system are maintained and accurate, and that safety stock settings are dynamically adjusted for finished goods.

Qualifications



A university degree is a must. 0-1 year of experience is required. Experience in distribution planning or familiarity with Supply Planning tasks. Proficiency in product category planning. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Problem-solving skills and analytic abilities. Experience in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, particularly SAP, would be beneficial. Good numeric abilities. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
