About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Storage Resident Engineer with expertise in PowerMax storage solutions to provide on-site support, technical expertise, and management of storage infrastructure. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to our client, ensuring the seamless operation and optimization of their storage environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Storage Management:
- Provide day-to-day management and administration of PowerMax storage systems.
- Monitor and maintain storage performance, capacity, and availability.
- Perform upgrades, patching, and firmware updates as needed.
Technical Support: - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PowerMax and associated storage infrastructure.
- Collaborate with vendors for hardware replacements and advanced technical support.
Implementation and Optimization: - Assist in the design, implementation, and configuration of storage solutions.
- Ensure optimal performance of storage systems through proactive tuning and maintenance.
Customer Engagement: - Act as the primary technical point of contact for the client’s storage environment.
- Provide regular updates and documentation, including reports on performance and system health.
Compliance and Best Practices: - Ensure adherence to industry best practices and organizational standards for data security and storage management.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend solutions to mitigate potential issues.
