Raya Foods; one of Raya’s subsidiaries, is hiring a Senior Supervisor (Quality Assurance) - Fresh products.
What will you do:
Verify and inspect all company farms and pack houses to ensure compliance with quality standards, including pesticide usage and maximum residue limits for clients. Develop and implement quality control measures to enhance product quality and minimize waste. Prepare facilities for certification processes such as global gap, GRASP, and SMETA. Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to quality processes and standards. Collaborate with various departments to address any quality issues that may arise. Coordinate with suppliers and growers to monitor and follow up on spray programs. Train and mentor staff on quality assurance processes and best practices. Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.

Technical Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of quality assurance experience, with a focus in the fresh fruit export industry Certification in global gap, GRASP, or SMETA is preferred Proficient in data analysis and reporting (e.g., Excel, databases) Ability to identify and resolve quality issues effectively Familiarity with fresh produce supply chain and logistics Skilled in conducting audits and inspections Understanding of traceability and recall systems Experience with quality management software Strong knowledge of packaging and storage requirements for fresh produce. Proficient in root cause analysis and corrective actions
Education
Bachelor of Agriculture, Food science or any related discipline.
