Job Description

Role Summary/Overview
The Senior Project Specialist will be a key member of the operations team at Talabat Egypt, reporting
directly to the Head of Operations. This role focuses on driving and executing special projects that are
crucial for the ongoing transformation and growth of the business. The Senior Project Specialist will work
cross-functionally to ensure that projects align with Talabat’s strategic objectives and are delivered on
time, within scope, and budget. This individual will also be responsible for identifying process
improvements, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the solutions implemented
enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.


Role Scope


Project Leadership & Execution:


Lead the end-to-end management of a diverse portfolio of high-impact strategic projects from inception to completion. This includes but is not limited to:


        - Seasonal Campaigns.


        - Business Process Reengineering.


        - Strategic initiatives related to customer experience, vendor management, and operational excellence.


Drive continuous improvement efforts and ensure that projects are executed on time, within budget, and


meet stakeholder expectations.


Stakeholder Management:


Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless


collaboration across the organization.


Work closely with experience, performance and operations teams to ensure alignment on project goals and execution strategies.


Data-Driven Reporting & Documentation:
Provide detailed, transparent, and timely reporting to senior leadership on project performance,
milestones, and risk mitigation strategies.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer across teams by
ensuring that lessons learned from completed projects are shared for continuous improvement.


Skills & Qualifications needed :


 Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of project management tools and methodologies
(e.g., Agile, Waterfall). Familiarity with data analysis and process improvement frameworks.
 Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.
 Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on proactive identification of issues and finding innovative solutions.
 Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple
stakeholders with varying priorities. Capable of driving projects forward in a matrix organization.
 Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-evolving environment with changing priorities. Ability to pivot and adjust plans as needed to meet business objectives.
 Education: A PMP or similar project management certification is a must.
