Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sr. Accountant to join our team. The Sr. Accountant will play a critical role in managing the financial health of our company, ensuring effective financial planning, analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth and profitability goals.
  • Manage cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity to meet operational needs.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Develop and monitor key financial metrics to assess the company’s performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and decision-making processes.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial procedures.
  • Manage relationships with banks, investors, and other financial stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely settlement with partners according to their settlement cycle dates, maintaining strong relationships and operational efficiency.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CFA certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role
  • Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in the fintech or technology sector is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage partner settlements and bank accounts efficiently.
  • Must be familiar with Zoho Books.
