MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:
The SPV Project Director is responsible for overseeing and managing all special projects within the organization. This role involves planning, implementing, and executing a diverse range of initiatives that align with the company's strategic goals and objectives. The SPV Project Director will provide leadership, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This position requires exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills, along with a proven track record of achieving successful project outcomes. The SPV Project Director will work collaboratively across various teams and stakeholders to foster a high-performance culture and drive project success.
KEY MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :
• Develop and implement the organization's special projects strategy to align with company objectives.
• Plan and execute projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish project goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders, including drafting and distributing periodic progress reports.
• Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines, making necessary adjustments to achieve successful outcomes.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define project scope, deliverables, and milestones.
• Establish and utilize project management methodologies and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential project risks.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Evaluate project performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and train staff to assist with projects.
• Oversee daily project workflows and serve as a liaison with executives, department heads, and board members to ensure organizational goals are met.
• Draft schedules for the implementation of long-range plans and proposals.
• Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and best practices.
