Software Engineer II

We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join Procore’s Product & Technology Team. Procore software solutions aim to improve the lives of everyone in construction and the people within Product & Technology are the driving force behind our innovative, top-rated global platform. We’re a customer-centric group that encompasses engineering, product, product design and data, security and business systems. 

As a Software Engineer in the Internationalization team, you will gather experience across a range of tasks within the scope of the team. You will collaborate with senior engineers and work on the team’s priorities. You will expand the team’s capacity by working on routine tasks with minimal supervision. You will join as a hands-on contributor on a well-funded team with low operational overhead.

This position reports to the Software Engineering Manager based out of Cairo, Egypt.

What you’ll do:

• Bring about evolutionary change in Procore’s Globalization Platform upon which Procore builds software for non-US markets and languages
• Consistently contribute code to technical projects within the team
• Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, maintainable code
• Help onboard new engineers to the team 
• Share your knowledge in the team’s tech talks

What we're looking for:

• 2 years total experience as a Software Engineer
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming languages
• Participated in multiple projects and focus areas throughout your career
• Experience working remotely and with distributed teams
• Fluent in spoken and written English
