Job Description

We are looking for a Skilled Labourer to join our Sydney Metro team where you will be working on multiple projects around Sydney metro area. Day to day you will:
Assist in various construction and maintenance tasks on road assets. Operate tools and machinery in accordance with safety standards. Participate in site preparation, including setting up equipment and materials. Carry out repairs and general maintenance of road surfaces and adjoining structures. Follow project specifications and directions from supervisor and foreman to meet project goals. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety and health regulations.
Experience in civil construction, asphalt/ spray seal or maintenance, preferably in roads or infrastructure projects. Ability to handle physical workload and operate various machinery safely. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely. Commitment to safety standards and protocols. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. No formal qualification is required, but a trade certification will be considered an advantage.
The pre-employment process will include a medical check, including drug and alcohol screening.
