JOB PURPOSE
The purpose of the Quality Assistant Manager role at Unilever is to ensure that the factory's quality management systems comply with regulatory requirements and Unilever's standards. This role is crucial in driving quality improvement activities to guarantee product safety and address consumer and customer issues. Additionally, the position supports the deployment of quality strategies and the development of a quality-focused mindset within the team.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Supports deploying of UL Quality strategy, governance and goals through specific Quality projects and targets Supports building of Quality talent & change mindset through trainings. Ensuring core technology design for equipment and infrastructure, process changes and specifications meet local regulatory requirements and product quality needs (including cleanability, specification localization, etc.) Participates in / supports HACCP workshops and activities to ensure HACCP plans for the site are designed and operated to assure product safety Supports ensuring compliance to product technology GMP requirements. Participates in Quality Pillar for the Category GVS network sites gaining the experience & sharing the best practices in the factory. Supports efforts to ensure that Quality processes for IPM Functional Excellence are implemented for all innovations Participates in Early Management actions for product and equipment regarding quality requirements for innovation projects Participate in / supports (depends on project) Quality risk assessments for innovations Supports changes to existing and new materials suppliers through activities that assure quality / hygienic control processes are in place and operating effectively, e.g. follow up on audit action plans Supports ensuring that quality / hygiene control plans are established for production site changes or production capacity increases Supports Quality Management System deployment and continuous improvement through support to TPM Quality Pillar and Virtual Sites Supports resolving consumer/ customer product and package complaints and CRQS issues through analysis of care-line and CRQS audit information to identify improvements
Experiences & Qualifications
5 – 7 Years of Experience. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Chemical) FMCG experience is preferred Experience in Manufacturing especially within category.
