Senior Site Engineer to join our expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for seasoned professionals with a passion for overseeing the finishing stages of high-profile construction projects and ensuring the highest standards of quality and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all on-site activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and budgets.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, particularly in Libya.
- Understand client requirements, manage expectations, and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and plans.
- Ensure quality control and compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Travel to project sites, including Libya, to oversee progress, conduct inspections, and resolve issues.
- Coordinate with local teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
- Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and clients.
- Identify risks and propose solutions to mitigate them effectively.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the finishing industry, with a proven track record of managing site operations and delivering high-quality projects.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Strong understanding of finishing works, materials, and processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement
- Leadership abilities to manage teams and stakeholders effectively.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently, including extended stays in Libya as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
