Job Description

  1. Adheres to the main contract and sub-contract scope of work and different parties' responsibility of executions and/or delivery.
  2. Participates in / identifies the area priorities for works installation according to project's constructability and construction schedule.
  3. Reviews and approves the contractor(s)/sub-contractor(s) quality control plan.
  4. Reviews and approves the project Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
  5. Collects reviews and prepares filling for all received material certificates and ensures that receiving procedures are implemented properly and Ovum, shortage and Damage (OS&D) reports, if any, are prepared and submitted to site / project managers for action.
  6. Administrates and certifies contractor(s)/sub-contractor(s) quality performance until getting mechanical system(s) completion certificates.
  7. Approves quality control reports for construction contractor(s) / sub-contractor(s).
  8. Reviews and approves the nonconformity reports, analyses the root cause(s), suggests the required corrective action(s) and preventive action(s).
  9. Checks/signs and approves inspection form(s).
  10. Witnesses and approves calibration tests for tools, equipment, and instruments.
  11. Adheres to/ensures/controls applying the Company filing system.
  12. Participates in administering the site quality management auditing for contractor(s)/sub-contractor(s) and prepares the auditing report with required corrective actions.
  13. Participates in site review meetings.
  14. Reviews and administrates the marking-up as-built drawings and ensure proper filling.
  15. Administrates and monitors preparing of mechanical completion dossier and approves all signed-off inspection forms to ensure system readiness before handing over from construction to pre-commissioning and commissioning.
  16. Ensures the full implementation of the Company manuals, procedures, and departmental work instructions, in accordance with the requirements of the Company Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management systems.
  17. Ensures the awareness and implementation of the Quality Control programs and Quality Assurance procedures for the department activities within the framework of the overall Company Quality Management System.
  18. Ensures the full awareness and implementation of the applicable requirements of the Company Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management systems.

Skills

  • Wide knowledge of related software applications.
  • Wide Knowledge of the Company flow of work, manuals, procedures, design guides and departmental work instructions and Company Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management Systems requirements.
  • Wide knowledge of mechanical works supervision / civil construction supervision / E & I installations supervision activities as applicable.
  • Wide knowledge of construction methods & activities.
  • Wide knowledge of construction material and quality control.
  • Wide knowledge of construction management, planning and scheduling.
  • Wide knowledge of monitoring / interface with subcontractors/subcontractors.
  • Wide knowledge of engineering deliverables (e.g.drawings)
  • Wide knowledge of the requirements of the applicable international codes and standards.
