EPC Engineering is hiring a qualified Senior Structural Engineer to be a part of their team.Job Description:Structural Design and Analysis:-Develop detailed structural designs for various construction projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.-Conduct structural analysis to ensure designs are safe, cost-effective, and compliant with local and international building codes.-Optimize designs by evaluating alternative materials, construction methods, and design approaches to improve performance and reduce costs.Project Management:-Create, Review the structural BIM modelling of the project.Collaboration and Coordination:-Work closely with architects, mechanical and electrical engineers, and contractors to develop integrated designs.-Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.-Facilitate regular meetings with project stakeholders to discuss progress, challenges, and changes.-Technical Reporting and Documentation:-Prepare detailed technical reports, including calculations, analyses, and design summaries for submission to clients or regulatory authorities.-Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including drawings, revisions, and approvals.Code Compliance and Safety Standards:-Ensure that all designs adhere to relevant Saudi and international building codes and standards.-Stay updated on regulatory changes and integrate them into design practices.-Address structural safety concerns during the project lifecycle and implement corrective actions when necessary.Innovation and Research:-Research and implement new materials, technologies, and methods to enhance structural performance and sustainability.-Introduce value engineering solutions to maximize project efficiency and minimize waste.Mentorship and Training:-Guide junior engineers and technical staff to improve their technical knowledge and professional skills.-Organize training sessions or workshops to share insights on advanced structural techniques and software tools.Risk Assessment and Management:-Identify potential structural risks, including those related to seismic activity, wind loads, or material failure.-Develop mitigation plans to address identified risks and ensure project resilience.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering - 7-10 years of experience in structural engineering, including design, analysis, and project management.- Proficiency in structural software (e.g. SAP2000, Etabs, Safe, AutoCAD, Revit).- Strong understanding of construction materials, particularly concrete and steel.- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead project teams.- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Main Skills/Competencies Leadership and Mentorship:- Ability to guide and support junior engineers and technicians effectively.- Demonstrates confidence in leading project teams and making decisions.Problem-Solving Skills:-Analytical thinking to address complex structural challenges.-Quick decision-making under pressure while ensuring safety and compliance.Communication Skills:- Strong verbal and written communication for collaboration with architects, team members, and stakeholders.- Clear documentation and presentation of technical findings.Teamwork and Collaboration:- Works cohesively with multidisciplinary teams, fostering a cooperative environment.- Demonstrates respect for diverse perspectives and ideas.Attention to Detail:- Ensures precision in design, calculations, and project documentation.- Spots potential risks or errors early in the design process.- Time Management and Organization- Manages multiple projects and deadlines effectively.- Prioritizes tasks to meet project milestones.Adaptability and Flexibility:- Adapts to changes in project scope, client requirements, or unexpected challenges.- Maintains composure and professionalism in dynamic environments.Client-Focused Mindset:- Understands and aligns with client objectives, delivering solutions that meet or exceed expectations.- Communicates progress and addresses concerns proactively.Working ConditionsWorking Hours: 08:30 AM-05:00 PMWorking Days: 5 days/week (From Sunday to Thursday)Days Off: 2 Days off (Friday and Saturday)Work Location: Maadi
