Job Description
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Support DC OPS & Transport Management in the development of processes that help achieve Order Fulfilment objectives and efficiently follow up the product flow process in all related functions of planning, purchasing, shipping, and clearing as per GTM (Go-To-Market) dates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for efficient and timely product flow from Origin to Port of Discharge
- Coordinate Dubai FZE Buy shipments from adidas Dubai DC and ensure that the products are handled by 3PL on a timely basis from port of loading to port discharge
- Responsible for Shipping Instructions management and communicating to all stakeholders for Trade and Non-trade products
- Responsible for updates on Delivery files (IMF) accurately and in a timely manner based on Pre/Shipments advice, 3PL updates through the system portal, BIZAGI alerts, Trade Card & GT Nexus, ILTI, and custom operations milestones to facilitate in planning and analysis
- Measures forwarder’s performance regularly and communicates to concerned parties for analysis and improvement recommendations.
- Analyze the broker's KPI measurements to enhance overall management of compliance, and focus on overall performance improvement.
- Lead the communication of changes in customs clearance processes affecting inbound processes, Transportation, Finance, and DC Operations.
- Monitor the shipment's customs releases with the customs clearance agent (Broker) and DC for incoming under-inspection or final released shipments.
- Responsible for local/Global 3PL account management and coordination from volume allocation, formulation, and maintenance of processes, policies, contracts, and standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Managing the quality standard compliance of our products prior to shipment.
- Initiates and executes Importation Improvements and Cost Efficiency/Savings programs
- Supports the Sr. Manager DC OPS & Transport in initiating an Action Plan for improvements and tackling issues on inbound operation from CFS/CY, In-transit, and Customs.
- Responsible for coordination with Global Logistics on projects, SOP, Contracts, SI, and Volume/Container Allocation Forecast
- Ensures that adidas is following all the local requirements for importation.
- Act as the single contact for all importation topics

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Supply Chain / Logistics background and sound knowledge
- University/bachelor’s degree in business (or similar)
- Fluent in English and Arabic (Oral & Written)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications particularly in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- SAP is a plus
- 3+ years’ experience in Operations/Logistics and/or Customer Service, preferably in the apparel/fashion/shoe industry.
